The 13th Annual Margaret River Art Auction

The Annual Margaret River Art Auction is now in its 13th year. This popular event continues to showcase diverse works from the region’s most prominent artists, high-profile interstate contributors, and emerging local artists.

Our 2018 event will be held on Saturday 27 October in the Barrel Room at the Margaret River TAFE on Bussel Highway from 6pm. Up to 300+ guests will bid on more than 60 items of fabulous art.
In 2017 the auction raised around $25,000 for Margaret River Independent School.We would like to invite you to make an art donation.

Tickets are $20 and include a complimentary glass of wine and refreshments.

Monetary awards, kindly donated by our event sponsors, will be presented on the night to three exhibiting artists:
• People’s Choice Award First Prize
• People’s Choice Award Second Prize
• Artist’s Choice

Margaret River Independent School offers a unique learning environment with a strong focus on academics and character development. The Arts play a significant role in MRIS’s learning process, with many of our students going on to become successful in this area.

Art Auction 2017

Over $25,000 was raised for Margaret River Independent School through our annual Annual Margaret River Art Auction on Saturday. More than 250 enjoyed the night with some wonderful art going under the hammer. Thanks to all our fabulous artists, parents,and sponsors, and our Auctioneer Extraordinaire – Neil Earl!

River Mail, 5th June, 2013

AN estimated $30,000 was raised at the eighth annual Margaret River Art Auction on Saturday at the Cultural Centre, a very successful fundraiser for the Margaret River Independent School.

Rhonda Dornan was presented with the Kent Le Grand Memorial

Award, by the late Mr Le Grand’s son Barnabas who came down from Perth for the event.

The organisers thank the artists and sponsors for all their generosity to the school community and help to make the annual event go off so well.

ART ADMIRERS: Britt Stokke, Kristy Edgars and CaptureKylie Chatto enjoyed the 8th Annual Margaret River Art Auction.
