MRIS launches a successful Fathering Project

After the successful launch of the MRIS Fathering Project recently there are plans to organise a
Camping/Fishing event for fathers and their children in the near future. A group of 15 fathers attended the event which was hosted by MRIS father Anton and MRIS Chaplain, Mike. Guest speaker was Scott Olney from the WA Fathering Project. The Fathering Project aims to build a community of Dads and provide fun, interaction and support.
The group enjoyed pizza and beer as well as the chance to win donated vouchers from Flinders Bay Caravan Park, Hamelin Bay Holiday Park and the Hairy Marron; Yallingup Maze plus a Dominos discount on the pizzas… many thanks to our sponsors.
MRIS Fathering Project will hold a Sausage Sizzle at Bunnings in Busselton in the last week of August. Anyone interested in joining the MRIS Fathering Project or helping out with the Sausage Sizzle should contact the office on 97577515 or email [email protected]
